Purchase, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's volleyball team swept Skyline Conference rival SUNY Purchase, 3-0, to win its fourth-straight game on Tuesday evening.

The road victory sees the Golden Eagles improve to 6-9 on the year and 2-1 in conference play as the Panthers, who remain winless this season, drop to 0-12 (0-4 Skyline).

SJC's offense was powered by freshman Jessica Young, who boasted a .421 attacking percentage and collected a game-high 11 kills.

Senior Claire Urizzo contributed seven kills and 10 digs, and junior Danielle Senecal was credited with a game-best 16 digs.

Senior Morgan Tiska hit .312 and put down seven kills.

St. Joseph's cruised to a comfortable 25-10 victory in the first set but was met with stiffer competition in the second as the hosts took 17 points off the Golden Eagles.

Tiska's set-winning kill (25-17) would eventually see the guests go up 2-0 in the match, and a 25-15 result in the third set clinched the three-game sweep for SJC.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Thursday, October 12 when they host Skyline Conference foe Farmingdale State inside the Danzi Center at 7:00 pm. Live video and stats for the match will be available here.
