Women's Volleyball Sweeps Albertus Magnus

New Haven, NH| The St. Joseph's College women's volleyball team completed a non-conference sweep of Albertus Magnus College Tuesday evening.

The Golden Eagles improve to 4-5 on the season and the Falcons even out at 5-5.

St. Joseph's took an early match lead with a 25-18 win in set one before carrying out the sweep with 25-17 wins in sets two and three.

Sophomore Jessica Young led all players with a match-high 14 kills while hitting at a .591 clip. Setters Toni Parente and Brionna Silva finished with 18 and 14 assists, respectively. Senior libero Danielle Senecal recorded a match-high 20 digs.

Genesis Cora Luquis and Ashley David led the Falcons with five kills apiece. Jaiden Williams tossed 15 assists and Jesselle Guzman finished with 12 digs.

The Golden Eagles return to the Danzi Center when they host a tri-match with CCNY and York College. SJC will take on the Beavers at 10:00 am before facing the Cardinals at 2:00 pm.
