Patchogue, NY| After a successful 2019 season featuring a 15-15 overall record with an 8-3 Skyline Conference finish, the Golden Eagles look to return in the 2021 season with eyes on another Skyline Conference Tournament appearance.

Returners: In his 17th season at the helm of the Golden Eagles, Tobey Pantophlet brings back four returners including Skyline All-Conference selection senior middle hitter Amanda Goldstein to lead the offense.  Goldstein led the Golden Eagles in 2019 with 260 kills with a .270 hitting percentage. Junior Kayla Martin returns to guide the defense after racking up 157 digs and averaging 1.59 digs per set two seasons ago. Also returning are juniors Lauren Harmer who will see time in the middle and the right side and working with the back row and setting is Veronica Miessmer.

Newcomers: Eight fresh faces join the SJC squad with sophomore Maddie Gremli and freshman Deirdre Carney taking roles on the outside. Sophomore April Sexton will join Martin on the defensive end and assuming setting duties is sophomore Tara Langford.

When they begin: St. Joseph's is set to begin its 2021 campaign Saturday, September 4th when they host Ramapo College in the Danzi Center at 12:00 pm.
