Women's Volleyball Swept by CMSV on Tuesday

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 Skyline Conference defeat to the College of Mt. St. Vincent in the Danzi Center on Tuesday evening.

The Golden Eagles fell 25-13, 25-11, and 25-16 in straight sets to move to 5-9 on the season with a 3-2 Skyline record. The Dolphins improve to 10-9 overall, 3-3 Skyline.

Deirdre Carney led the Golden Eagles with six kills while adding four digs and two total blocks. Kaitlynn D'Angelo pitched in with five kills and five digs.

Setter Veronica Miessmer tossed 11 assists with Kellianne Dempsey picking up nine digs.

Samantha Schroder led the Dolphins with seven kills and scooped up six digs. Setter Madison Gale dished 25 assists while libero Olivia Kane finished with nine digs.

The Golden Eagles resume Skyline action on Thursday, October 14 when they travel to Farmingdale State at 7:00 pm.
