Women's Volleyball Ends Season at NJCU

Jersey City, NJ| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's volleyball suffered a season-ending sweep at the hands of New Jersey City College on Saturday morning.

NJCU earned 25-21, 25-14 and 25-20 wins in straight sets to capture the non-conference match.

Amanda Goldstein led the Golden Eagles in her final match with seven kills. Kaitlynn D'Angelo pitched in with six kills and six digs with Lauren Harmer rounding out the top scorers with five kills while assisting on three blocks.

Setter Veronica Miessmer tossed 13 assists with libero Kellianne Dempsey finishing with eight digs.

The Gothic Knights were led by Paola Toledo with a 20 kill performance. Setter Sydney Lore provided 33 assists and Katrina Nguyendon finished with 13 digs.

The Golden Eagles end the year at 9-15 with the Gothic Knights moving to 15-10.
