Goldstein Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Patchogue, NY| Senior Amanda Goldstein of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's volleyball team was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team. Announced on Thursday, the Academic All‐District teams recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

A therapeutic recreation major with a 4.0 GPA, Goldstein led the Golden Eagles with 214 kills while averaging 2.52 kills per set. The middle hitter finished the season with 58 digs, 38 total blocks, and 33 service aces.

As a first-team all-district honoree, Goldstein advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
