The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 non-conference contest against Eastern Nazarene College on Friday evening.
Top performers
- Junior Madison Gremli led the Golden Eagles with a double-double of 11 kills and 11 digs
- Junior Jackie Wolfe added nine kills and seven digs
- Setter Tara Langford tossed 30 assists
- Libero Kellianne Dempsey finished with a team-high 21 digs
- Junior April Sexton collected 14 digs
- ENC's Eliana Baran finished with a game-high 25 kills with 15 digs
How it happened
- The Lions jumped out to an early match lead with 25-18 and 25-19 wins in sets one and two
- The Golden Eagles held off elimination with a 25-23 win in the third set
- ENC finished off the win with a 25-16 victory in the fourth set
