The St. Joseph's University-New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team picked up a pair of non-conference wins over Brooklyn College and The Pratt Institute in the Danzi Center on Saturday.

  • Sophomore Jackie Wolf led the Golden Eagles with 10 kills and assisted on three blocks
  • Sophomore middle Deirdre Carney totaled six kills with a team-best four block assists
  • Senior middle Lauren Harmer put down five kills while hitting at a .500 clip
  • Setter Tara Langford tossed a match-best 29 assists
  • Libero Kayla Martin picked up a match-high 11 digs
How it happened
  • The Golden Eagles used their best hitting percentage of the day to propel them to a 25-15 win in the opening frame
  • St. Joseph's continued much of the same in the second set grabbing a 25-13 win to take a 2-0 match-lead
  • The teams were in a 20-20 stalemate before back-to-back kills put the Golden Eagles ahead 23-20 before they went on to complete the sweep with a 25-21

  • Junior Madison Gremli led all players with 21 kills and a .500 hitting percentage
  • Wolf added 12 kills with eight digs
  • Langford tossed a match-best 37 assists
  • Libero Kellianne Dempsey collected up a match-high 32 digs
How it happened
  • The Golden Eagles took an early match lead with 25-15 and 25-23 wins in sets one and two, respectively
  • Pratt kept in close in the third set and after going ahead 23-21, the Cannoneers went on to stay alive with a 25-23 win.
  • After jumping ahead 8-1 to start the fourth set, the Golden Eagles cruised to a 25-13 win to take the match 3-1
