Equestrian Takes Fourth at Home Opening Meet

Yaphank, N.Y. - The St. Joseph's equestrian team hosted their first show of the season at Good Shepherd Farm in Yaphank on Sunday and finished the day in fourth place. Katie Morrison (Commack, N.Y./Commack) received the High Point Rider of the Day award as she took first in Novice Flat and Novice Fences.

Brittany Hoffman (Medford, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) took first in the Novice Flat. Rachel Russak (Huntington, N.Y./Smithtown Christian) took first in Walk, Trot, Canter and Cassie Scofield (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) took first in Intermediate Fences.
