Spann Appears on Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was Dominique Spann of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's basketball team who appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

The senior averaged 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds through two matches last week and scored a season-best 27 points—on 11-20 shooting—in a 69-62 loss to CCNY on Saturday afternoon.

Spann also went for 16 points and eight rebounds in a 76-64 loss to Skyline rival Old Westbury on Tuesday evening.

In six contests this season, the forward has averaged 13.3 points-, 6.8 rebounds- and 2.0-assists-per-game. The Dowling transfer is third in team scoring behind guards Andy Laurent and Fernando Vazquez.

Spann and the Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, December 2 when they host Sarah Lawrence inside the Danzi Center at 8:00 PM.
