Men’s Golf Fall Schedule Announced
Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) men’s golf team, that finished second at the 2014 Skyline Conference Championships, announced its schedule for the upcoming 2015 campaign on Monday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles will get started on Friday, September 11 with a Skyline Invitational hosted by Old Westbury and played on the Eisenhower Park Red course in Westbury, NY. A week later on Friday, September 18, St. Joseph’s will be on the Bethpage State Park Red Course in Bethpage, NY for another Skyline Invitational to be hosted by Farmingdale State.
Saturday, September 19 marks the beginning of the Penn State-Harrisburg Invitational, which is set to run through Monday, September 21 at Dauphin Highlands Country Club in Harrisburg, PA. The Golden Eagles participated in the same event in 2014 and finished in seventh out of 12 competing schools.
St. Joseph’s will host its annual Golden Eagle Invitational on Friday, October 2 at Island Hills Country Club in Sayville, NY. The Golden Eagles finished second in last season’s edition, with conference rivals Farmingdale State claiming first place. The 2015 event is set to begin at 11:00 AM.
Mt. St. Mary’s will host the final Skyline Invitational of the regular on Friday, October 9, played at Powletown Country Club in Newberg, NY.
Returning senior Christian Bleck will look to defend his individual conference title at the Skyline Conference Championships, hosted by Purchase, on Saturday, October 17. The tournament, which will run through Monday, October 19, will be played at Brynwood Country Club in Armonk, NY.
