Bio

Lisa Jusino was hired by St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) as head softball coach in July, 2015. She arrived from Briarcliffe where she spent the previous nine years.

Since 2010, Jusino served as head coach of the Bulldogs, who posted a 118-42-1 under her direction and appeared in the Small College World Series in every season, finishing as high as third place. From 2006-2010, Jusino held the position of assistant coach, holding responsibilities including the directing of numerous camps and clinics and ensuring USCAA compliance. During Jusino’s nine years at Briarcliffe, the Bulldogs posted a 194-91-1 overall record.

From 2001 to 2006, Jusino was an assistant softball coach at Adelphi University, where she planned practices, coordinated instructional hitting drills and helped to maintain NCAA compliance.

Jusino was also a four-year letterwinner at Adelphi from 1998 to 2001 and was named an NFCA Academic All-American in her junior year. A 2001 first team All-ECC selection, Jusino was inducted into the Adelphi Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. 

In addition to her coaching and playing experience, Jusino has worked as a private hitting instructor at Strictly Softball Inc. since 2001 and as a head counselor at Luhi Summer Programs since 2013. From 2013 to 2014, Jusino worked as an aide at Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism.

A 2001 graduate of Adelphi University with a B.A. in communications, Jusino currently resides in East Meadow, NY.
