Lady Eagles Shutout by Montclair State

Patchogue, N.Y. - The St. Joseph's Golden Eagles struggled on both ends on Saturday in their 4-0 loss to Montclair State.  Despite Cristiana Votta's (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) fourteen saves, the MSU offense was too much to handle for the Lady Eagles.

It didn't take long for Montclair State to create havoc in the St. Joseph's box. After Votta was put to the test several times early, Kerry Glynn finally found the back of the net at the 12:23 mark in the first half. It was Glynn's first of two goals on the night and Montclair State would not look back. Jennie Hornstra and Shawna Grabowski added two more tallies in the lopsided affair.

The Eagles will play four games on the road before returning home on October 2 to take on Old Westbury in a Skyline Conference game.
