Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Jessica Cordano – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Freshman, Forward/Midfielder, Oakdale, NY/Connetquot HS

Cordano scored the Golden Eagles’ first goal in the fifth minute on Oct. 20 as SJC earned a 4-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent…scored the team’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to NJCU on Oct. 15…registered nine shots in the two matches.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Shanice Robe – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Forward, Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream Central HS

Robe scored six goals and added two assists in a pair of wins as Mount Saint Mary clinched the Skyline regular season title…scored the team’s first three goals and recorded an assist in the Knights’ 4-1 victory over Sage on Oct. 18…notched a hat trick and added an assist on Oct. 21 in an 11-0 win versus NYU-Poly…has scored a program single-season record 27 goals, including 10 game-winning tallies. 

Men's Soccer Players of the Week
John Dettori – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Senior, Forward, West Babylon, NY/West Babylon HS

Dettori earns his fourth Player of the Week award of the season after scoring four goals and adding two assists in a 2-1 week for St. Joseph’s-L.I…had two goals and two assists – including the game-winner – in an 8-0 victory against Mount Saint Vincent on Oct. 21…tallied a goal on Oct. 18 in the Golden Eagles’ 2-1 (OT) win versus Old Westbury…scored the team’s lone goal in a 3-1 loss to William Paterson on Oct. 16. 

Angelo Viteritti – Farmingdale State
Junior, Goalie, East Northport, NY/John Glenn HS

Viteritti recorded a pair of shutouts while notching 10 saves as Farmingdale State posted victories over Maritime (1-0) and Sage (2-0)…registered four saves against Maritime and six versus the Gators…leads the conference in shutouts (eight) and save percentage (.871). 

Men's Soccer Rookies of the Week
Leon Aboudi – Yeshiva
Sophomore, Midfielder, Bala Cynwyd, PA/Kohelet Yeshiva
HS
Aboudi notched the program’s first hat trick since the 2009 season as his three goals lifted Yeshiva past Mount Saint Vincent on Oct. 15, 4-3…marked the Maccabees’ first Skyline win since 2007…added a pair of goals in a 6-2 loss to Purchase on Oct. 17…amassed nine shots on the week. 

Paul Lima – NYU-Poly
Freshman, Goalie, Weston, FL/Cypress Bay HS

Lima registered seven saves – including one on a penalty kick in overtime – as NYU-Poly edged Mount Saint Mary on Oct. 21, 1-0 (OT)…marked his first shutout of the season.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Kirsten Ackerman – The Sage Colleges
Sophomore, Guilderland, NY/Guilderland HS

Ackerman won both of her matches at No. 1 singles and went 2-0 in doubles play as Sage dropped contests to Mount Saint Mary (7-2) and St. Joseph’s-L.I. (5-4)…earned a 6-2, 7-5 win in singles and paired up for an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles versus MSMC…posted a 6-0, 6-3 win against SJC at first singles and an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles…improved to 13-0 in singles action…named the Skyline Player of the Week for the third time. 

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Morgan Holbrook – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Montgomery, NY/Valley Central HS

Holbrook earned a pair of wins at No. 2 singles against NYU-Poly and Sage and paired up for an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles against Sage as Mount Saint Mary clinched the Skyline regular season crown…won 6-2, 6-2 versus NYU-Poly and 6-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-6) against Sage…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the sixth time.

Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week
Cameron Coneys - Maritime
Freshman, Centerport, NY/Harborfields HS

Competing at the St. Joseph’s-L.I. Invitational on Oct. 21, Coneys placed first overall in a field of 157 runners with a time of 27:53.3 on the five-mile course…marked his – individual victory this season…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the sixth time and earns his fourth Runner of the Week citation…Maritime finished fifth in the 21-team field. 

Oliver Sax - Yeshiva
Senior, University Heights, OH/Fuchs Mizrachi HS

Sax won the individual title at the HVMAC Championships on Oct. 21 with a time of 27:56 as Yeshiva took home the team title…field consisted of 43 runners…marked the team’s third title of 2012.

Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week

Women’s Cross Country Runner/Rookie of the Week
Katherine Henri - Purchase
Freshman, Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy

Henri finished second overall at the St. Joseph’s-L.I. Invitational on Oct. 21 with a time of 20:02.2 on the 5,000m course…field consisted of 147 runners…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the sixth time and Runner of the Week for the third time…Purchase placed fifth in the 17-team field.   

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Helen Putriment – The Sage Colleges
Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Troy, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville HS

Putriment averaged 4.83 digs and 3.67 kills over six sets with a .419 attacking percentage as Sage posted victories over Old Westbury (3-0) and Farmingdale State (3-0) on Oct. 20…recorded 13 kills and 11 digs versus FSC…her 249 kills this season are tops on the team.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Megan Pisciotta – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Setter, Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst HS

Pisciotta recorded at least 20 assists in all three of Farmingdale State’s matches on the week en route to earning her third Skyline Rookie of the Week honor…averaged 8.45 assists and 2.0 digs over 11 sets with a .333 attacking percentage…amassed 37 assists on Oct. 16 in the Rams’ 3-1 win over Old Westbury and 34 in a 3-1 loss to Mount Saint Mary on Oct. 20.
