Golden Eagles Give Back for the Holidays

Patchogue, NY| Teaming up with the SJC Campus Ministry along with numerous individuals, offices, and clubs, the St. Joseph's College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) participated in a Fall/Thanksgiving Food Drive.

"This year has been challenging for all of us in numerous ways," stated SAAC vice president Thomas Newham. "As the holidays approach, it is more important than ever to respect our neighbors and give to the less fortunate."

For weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, the Golden Eagles collected food donations that will be delivered to local agencies and families in need.

"Having the opportunity to donate food to families in need has been a very rewarding experience," Newham continued. "People are struggling now more than ever and anyone who has the time to give a little will make a huge difference in someone's life."
