Men’s Golf Edged by Yeshiva

Bronx, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team was defeated, 341-353, by Yeshiva University at Pelham Bay Golf Course on Friday afternoon.

In their 2019-20 season opener, the Golden Eagles were led by junior Joseph Tantillo who posted a team-best 83. Tantillo was beaten only by Yeshiva's Arniel Kerstein (76).

Senior Justin Conroy shot an 86, and sophomore Patrick Diecidue finished third on the team (90).

Freshman Ryan Kayton rounded out SJC's scoring contingent with a 94 in his first collegiate outing.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, September 20 when they compete in a Skyline Conference contest at Bethpage Red.
