Men's Golf Places Third at Manhattanville Invitational

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team placed third in a field of six competing teams at Monday's Manhattanville Invitational. 

Top performers

• Pat Diecidue was SJNY's top performer with a score of 83
• Bailey Meyer shot an 84 and Gavin Melandro rounded out the SJNY top three with an 86

How it happened

• St. Joseph's shot a team score of 342 and was bested only by Mt. St. Mary (332) and Manhattanville (339)
• The Golden Eagles were seven points clear of fourth-place Western Conn. (349)

Notes

• Ryan Kayton (89) and Michael Welton rounded out SJNY's scoring contingent
• All but one school--Western Conn.-- were Skyline Conference institutions
