Tennis Drops Skyline Match to Purchase

Purchase, N.Y.- After winning a close game against Rutgers-Newark in their previous match, the St. Joseph's College men's tennis team was blanked by the Purchase State Panthers, 9-0, in Skyline Conference play on Sunday.

With the loss the Golden Eagles drop to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the Skyline Conference, while the Panthers improve to 2-1 on the season with a 1-1 conference record.

SJC will look to rally against their next opponent, as the Eagles prepare to take on the Merchant Marines (1-3, 0-3 Skyline) in a Skyline Conference skirmish on their home court on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
