Curaro Tabbed Skyline Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

Men's Volleyball Weekly Report

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners was junior Paul Curaro of St. Joseph's College (L.I.) who was named Men's Volleyball Player of the Week.

In a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles, Curaro hit .116 and put down 24 kills. The outside hitter was also credited with 11 digs and a team-best five service aces.

Curaro went for a game-high 17 kills (.244 hit. %), six digs and three services in SJC's season-opening, 3-2 victory over #6 NYU on January 15. The Holbrook, NY native followed that performance up with a seven-kill, five-dig performance in a 3-0 loss at Division I Sacred Heart on January 19. 

As of Monday morning, Curaro led the Golden Eagles in total kills and service aces and was third in digs.

The men's volleyball team returns to action on Saturday, January 26 when it visits Emerson College for a non-conference tri-match beginning at 2:00 pm.
