Women's Tennis Announces 2017 Regular Season Schedule

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team announced the release of the program's 2017 regular season schedule on Friday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles, who finished third in the Skyline Conference standings last year before being eliminated by Farmingdale State –for the third-straight year –in the Skyline Conference Championship final, are set to open play at home vs. William Paterson on Saturday September 2.

SJC hits the roads for three games opening up conference play against top rival Yeshiva University on Sunday, September 10, before taking on Lehman (9/13) and York College (9/16).

The Golden Eagles return home on Sept. 23 to host SUNY Oneonta. On Sept. 27, SJC will welcome four-time Skyline Conference Champion Farmingdale St. in a rematch of last year's championship final.

The team will recognize its seniors and wrap up the season with a non-conference tilt against Brooklyn College on Oct. 15 at 12 PM.

Four teams will qualify for the Skyline Conference Championship in 2017 with the semifinal round —featuring #3 vs. #2 and #4 vs. #1—being played on Wednesday, October 18, and the conference finals are slated for Saturday, October 21. All games are played on the campuses of the higher seed.
