Golden Eagles Placed Fourth at Farmingdale Spring Invitational

Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) golf team placed fourth in the two-day event at the Farmingdale State Invitational held at Bethpage State Park.

The team placed fourth in the field of seven finishing within two strokes behind Cabrini College and four behind Marywood University.
"The golf team had a very good tournament performance at the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational," stated a poised George Cangero
 

The team was led by its outstanding senior trio, Christian Bleck (75-73 148) placing him 4th in the 40 player field, matching his Individual Skyline Championship performance in the Conference Finals in 2014.  Rob Bray (74-77 151) placed tied for seventh and senior captain Zac Campanelli (78-77 155) would finish T-12.

Evan Scheuch has continued to move forward posting two solid rounds of (82-82 166) placing him 27. Brandon Hauser had rounds of (87-82 169) T-29-demonstrating significant improvement
 

Josh Rose, a recent transfer to St Joseph's College, competed in his first tournament with the Golden Eagles with scores of (92-79 171)

The Golden Eagles will now host their final tournament of the year the St. Joseph's College Long Island Intercollegiate Championship this upcoming weekend on April 29 and 30 at the Bellport Country Club.
