Patchogue, NY| A late winner saw Manhattanville College past the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team in a Skyline Conference contest at Danzi Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Eli Pardo headed home a corner in the 87th minute to win it for the Valiants. The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 3-7-1 overall and 2-5-1 in Skyline play as Manhattanville improves to 8-4-2 and 7-0-1.
Manhattanville doubled up SJC in shots, 14-7 and corners, 6-3, in what was otherwise an even match.
Both SJC's Tyler Flaherty and Manhattanville's Luis Granados made two saves in the match.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, October 20, when they visit Mount St. Vincent for a Skyline Conference contest at 3:00 pm.
