Women's Volleyball Falls in Four

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 non-conference contest against Eastern Nazarene College on Friday evening.

Top performers

• Junior Madison Gremli led the Golden Eagles with a double-double of 11 kills and 11 digs
• Junior Jackie Wolfe added nine kills and seven digs
• Setter Tara Langford tossed 30 assists
• Libero Kellianne Dempsey finished with a team-high 21 digs
• Junior April Sexton collected 14 digs
• ENC's Eliana Baran finished with a game-high 25 kills with 15 digs

How it happened

• The Lions jumped out to an early match lead with 25-18 and 25-19 wins in sets one and two
• The Golden Eagles held off elimination with a 25-23 win in the third set
• ENC finished off the win with a 25-16 victory in the fourth set

• The Lions held a 16-9 block advantage at the net
• The visitors also finished with 18 service aces to St. Joseph's nine
