Equestrian Places Third in Bergen

Bergen, NJ| The next show in the IHSA Collegiate circuit was hosted by Columbia University at the Bergen County Equestrian Center. At this show, riders of special recognition for winning first in their class included: Sr. Melissa Mausser in Open Flat, Fr. Nicole Scotto in Intermediate Fences, So. Heidi Rohr in Novice Fences, and Sr. Caitlyn Kempsey in Advanced Walk Trot Canter.

Overall. It was a close race for points between NYU, Stony Brook, and the Golden Eagles. However, Stony Brook came out on top with 35 points for the day, NYU with 31 points, and the Golden Eagles with 30 points. The results closed the gap even further between SBU and SJC for the year, but the Golden Eagles still remained in first with 248 points. Stony Brook is in second for the year with 241 points, and therefore it will come down to the last show of the season next week, which will determine which team is the Regional Champion.
