Brooklyn Tops Men's Tennis, 8-1
Brooklyn, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team was defeated, 8-1, by Brooklyn College in a non-conference contest in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon.
The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 0-5 overall on the year as the Bulldogs improve to 4-1.
SJC's only win of the afternoon came via the second doubles duof of William Vita and Gordon Shouler, who secured an 8-5 victory.
Cory Stengel fared best in singles play in a 2-6, 4-6 loss at third singles.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Monday, April 11, when they face Yeshiva University at the SJC Outdoor Field Complex at 5:00 pm.
