Equestrian Wraps Up Great Run With 5th Place at Zones

Pittsford, N.Y. - The SJC Golden Eagles equestrian team tied for fifth place overall at the Zone 2 Championships with 25 points at Lehman Farms.

Both team and individual riders had an extraordinary day of riding, each athlete going out into the ring with conviction, determination, and the mindset to their team motto "Get It Done!"

SJC coaches Sheila Rodgers and Alison Mooney were incredibly proud of the entire team for riding their absolute best and performing the most beautiful rounds they have seen all season long against the best teams in Zone 2.

The individual and team results were as follows:

Alyssa Converse: Team Open Flat - Fourth Place   Team Open Fences- Third Place

Melissa Mausser: Team Intermediate Fences- Fifth Place

Leah Uliano: Team Intermediate Flat- Fourth Place, Individual Intermediate Fences- Ninth Place, Individual Novice Flat- Seventh Place

Maclain Palumbo: Individual Novice Flat- Tenth Place

Nicole Robinson: Team Novice Flat- Fourth Place

Lexi Metz: Team Novice Fences- Fourth Place   Individual Walk Trot Canter- Third Place

Heidi Rohr: Team Walk Trot Canter- Third Place

Caitlyn Kempsey: Team Walk Trot- Fourth Place
