The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team opened their season tying for fourth place at the MSMC Skyline Invitational on Friday.

Top performers

• Bailey Meyer led the Golden Eagles with a score of 78

• Connor Riegel finished four strokes behind with a total of 82

• Nick Gentile and Dominic Glatz rounded out the Golden Eagles' scores with 84, and 85, respectively 

• Jace Pesce finished with a round of 86

How it happened

• St. Joseph's shot a team score of 329, tying for fourth with Manhattanville

• Farmingdale State College (300) finished first, Mount Saint Mary (316) placed second, and Oldwestbury (328) rounded out the top three
