Men's Golf Tied for Third in Round One of Skyline Championship

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team tied for third place in round one of the Skyline Conference Championships on Sunday.

Top performers

• Sophomore Bailey Meyer led the Golden Eagles with a plus-7 score of 79

• Freshman Jace Pesce finished one stroke behind with a carded plus-8 score of 80

• Freshman Connor Riegel rounded out the top three SJLI finishers with a final score of 83

• Freshman Dominick Glatz and sophomore Nick Gentile closed out the round with scores of 86 and 88, respectively 

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles recorded a team score of 328 (+40) good to tie for third place with Yeshiva

• Farmingdale St. finished in first place with a score of 291 (+3), with Mt. St. Mary totaling 327 (+39) securing second place
