Yeshiva Topples Men's Tennis on Sunday Night

Flushing, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to Yeshiva University in a Skyline Conference affair at the National Tennis Center on Sunday night.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 1-6 on the year and 1-4 in conference play as the Maccabees improve to 9-5 overall (5-0 Skyline).

Sophomore Damian Duda and freshman Dylan Trude fared best for SJC in the doubles competition having taken an 8-4 defeat at third doubles.

Trude's 4-6, 7-6 tie-broken loss at sixth singles was St. Joseph's best performance in the singles competition.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday, April 17 when they host St. Joseph's College (Brkln) for a Skyline Conference contest at 5:00 pm.
