Siounis Lands on Skyline Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners was freshman Catherine Siounis of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team who appeared on the Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

The guard averaged a double-double of 12 points- and 16.5 rebounds-per-game in a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles. In a 79-54 win over CCNY on Nov. 20, Siounis tallied 16 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field and pulled down a game-high 24 rebounds.

In a 66-60 loss at SUNY Old Westbury on Nov. 23, the Greenlawn, NY native finished with eight points, nine rebounds, three steals, and two assists. She currently sits in third place in the conference with 13.5 rebounds-per-game.

Siounis and the Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday, November 26 when they visit Farmingdale State for a Skyline Conference contest at 6:00 pm.
