Women's Swimming Recognized as Fall CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Norfolk, VA| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.)  women's swimming team was selected as a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division III Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2017 semester as announced by the organization on Monday morning.

The Golden Eagles boasted a 3.57 GPA and were the only Skyline Conference program to appear among the 430 schools honored. SJC's team GPA was 16th highest among Division III women's programs. 

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a program must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the specified semester. In total, 688 men's and women's teams across Divisions I, II, III and the NJCAA received recognition.

St. Joseph's wrapped up its 2017-18 season with an 86-78 victory over St. Joseph's College (Brkln) on Sunday. The Golden Eagles finished sixth at the Skyline Conference Championships a day earlier.
