Cristobal Takes 12th & Breaks 800m SJC Record at ECAC Championships

New York City, N.Y. – Junior Christine Cristobal (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hallow Hills West) of the St. Joseph's College women's indoor track & field team competed at the ECAC Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, March 3.

Cristobal ran a career best of 2:18.22 in the 800m winning her heat and taking 12^th overall in a field of 26 of the best athletes on the east coast that are nationally ranked. This also broke her previous school record at SJC by 1 second.

Cristobal will both join the women's track & field team for the outdoor season Saturday, March 31 at the Dick Shea Invitational hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point.
