Zigrosser Flies Past All into First in 10,000m at Ramapo Invitational

Mahwah, N.J. – AnnMarie Zigrosser won the 10,000 meter run at the Sixth Annual Ramapo Roadrunner Invitational in a new St. Joseph's College record time of 40:34.65.  Her time shattered the previous record from 2008 by nearly five minutes.

After a conservative first mile, Zigrosser ended up lapping the entire women's field for the win.  Even more remarkable was this was the grad student's first 10,000m race.  The next closest competitor finished at 42:27.06.

Further details on the results from the two-day event are to follow as they unfold.
