Men's Golf Takes Third at FSC Skyline Invitational
Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team finished third in a field of six competing teams at the Farmingdale State Skyline Conference Invitational played on Bethpage Red on Friday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles shot a combined score of 335 in their season opener, 55 strokes over par and 20 strokes off first-place Farmingdale. Yeshiva University finished second with a score of 331 (+51).
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was senior Joseph Tantillo and sophomore Ryan Kayton, who both shot 82 (+12).
Junior Patrick Diecidue shot an 84 (+14) and freshman Gavin Melandro scored an 87 (+17).
Sophomore Conor Conzone rounded out the SJC contingent with a 96 (+26).
The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, April 16 when they participate in the Old Westbury Skyline Conference Invitational.
