Men's Golf in Fourth After First Round of Skyline Championship

Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team shot a team score of 346 (+66) in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage Red on Monday afternoon.

Currently in fourth place in a field of seven teams, SJC will look to close the gap to leader Farmingdale State (298, +18) in the second and final round on Friday afternoon.

Leading the way for St. Joseph's was junior Pat Diecidue, who is tied for 10th place with an 84 (+14). Senior Joseph Tantillo sits in 13th place after shooting an 86 (+16) in round one.

Sophomores Ryan Kayton (87, +17) and Conor Conzone (89, +19) are tied for 15th and 18th, respectively, and freshman Gavin Melando shot a 93 (+23) and is tied for 23rd.

Round two on Friday kicks off at 9:30 am at Bethpage Red in Farmingdale, NY.
