Meep, Meep! Eagles Set Records at Roadrunner Invitational
Mahwah, N.J. - The St. Joseph's College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at Ramapo for the Roadrunner Invitational this Easter weekend and posted many personal and team bests.
Women's Highlights
Senior Allison Waka (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) took 8th overall in the 5000m with a time of 20:26.15 contributing one point for the team.
Notable Performances
Christine Cristobal (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills) - 200m- 28.37 (Top 5 All-Time List)
Men's Highlights
Junior Jonathan Afanador (Medford, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) broke the 800m school record with a time of 2:03.41.
Freshman Robert Johnson (Mastic Beach, N.Y./William Floyd) took 6th overall in the 1500m with a personal best of 4:17.43, winning his section and contributing three points for the men.

Skylar Ellison (West Islip, N.Y/West Islip) - 1500m- 4:28.74 (Top 5 on All-Time List and Personal Best)
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday, April 14 to compete in the College of New Jersey Invitational.
