How it happened:

A back-and-forth battle through the first seven minutes of action saw the Golden Eagles pull ahead by eight off a Terrin Roy three, taking a 13-5 lead

Just over the midway point of the first half, SJLI would rally a 12-5 run that saw Allen capitalize on back-to-back threes

As the first half was winding down, the Saints responded with a 13-4 run of themselves that was halted by a jumper from Malloy that saw St. Joseph's enter the half up six

St. Lawrence took the lead just five minutes into the second half off a Macaulay layup, followed by another Allen three to give the Golden Eagles the lead again

A Troy McPherson three-pointer tied the game at 40 a piece with just 11 minutes of action remaining

Over the next five minutes, the Saints rallied a 10-3 to pull ahead by seven, with Allen hitting a clutch layup off the feed from Tabada to make it a five-point game
