Golf Places Eighth at the Moravian College Fall Invitational

Danielsville, PA| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team competed in the Moravian College Fall Invitational at the Woodstone Country Club on Monday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles shot a total of 336 (+48) placing them eighth in the 13-team field.
Moravian College (305) finished four strokes ahead of Rutgers University-Camden (309) to claim the victory.
Senior Evan Scheuch and freshman Michael Nadeau, who made his collegiate debut, both shot 81 to lead the team and earn top-20 finishes.
Patrick Standard followed with an 85 (+13) to finish in 37th, while Rich Kelly finished his round 17 strokes above par for a score of 89. Brandon Hauser rounded out the scoring for St. Joseph's with a final score of 92 (+19).
The Golden Eagles will next tee off on Friday, Sept. 23 when they take on Farmingdale St. at the Bethpage State Park Red Course in Bethpage, NY.
