Standard Captures Individual Title as Men's Golf Finishes in First at the Old Westbury Invitational

Manorville, NY| Patrick Standard of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team claimed the individual title as the Golden Eagles clinched first place at the SUNY Old Westbury Invitational at the Swan Lake Golf Club in Manorville, NY on Wednesday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles shot a team-total of 322 (+34) beating out both Yeshiva (341) and Old Westbury (365).

Patrick Standard led all golfers with a team-high score of 75 (+3) to earn the individual title.
Michael Nadeau trailed Standard by four strokes earning a second-place score of 79 on the afternoon.

Rich Kelly followed with an 82, while Brandon Hauser shot 86 (+14) to finish the day in fourth and eighth place, respectively.

Josh Rose rounded out the scoring for the Golden Eagles with a 10th place score of 90 on the evening.

The Golden Eagles next travel to the Ace Club in Lafayette Hill, PA to take on Philadelphia University on Monday, April 10.
