Men’s Golf Takes Third at Mt. St. Mary Invitational

Newburgh, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team opened its 2018-19 season at the Mount St. Mary College Fall Invitational on Friday afternoon and earned a third-place finish in a field of five.

SJC was led by 2017 Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year Joe Tantillo, who shot a 73 (+3) and finished in third place.

Patrick Standard finished six strokes off the leader, Chris Fischer of Farmingdale State, and finished sixth with a score of 76 (+6).

Andrew Maiorca (86) and Patrick Diecidue (89) took 16th and 19th, respectively. David Doolin did not finish.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, September 21 when they participate in the American International College Invitational at The Veterans Golf Course in Springfield, MA.
