Men’s Golf Takes Fourth at St. Joseph’s Classic

Bellport, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team hosted the annual St. Joseph's Classic on Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7, at Bellport Country Club and placed fourth in a field of nine teams.

SJC was bested by only Dominican College (+47), Felician College (+65) and American International (+72); all NCAA Division III schools.

Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was sophomore Joseph Tantillo, who tied for ninth place with a two-day score of 159 (+17).

Senior Pattrick Standard tied for 11th (+18) and senior Andrew Maiorca finished tied for 17th (+23).

Senior David Doolin (+33) and freshman Patrick Diecidue (+40) rounded out the SJC scoring contingent in 33rd and 40th places, respectively.

The Golden Eagles wrap their 2018-19 season at the SUNY Old Westbury Invitational on Thursday, April 18.
