Track and Field Competes at ECAC Indoor Championships

New York, NY| The St. Joseph's College indoor track and field team competed at the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships at The Armory on March 6 and 7.

Highlighting the event was the women's distance medley of Nadine Keefer, Savannah McMaster, Marlee Lopez and Emily Venturi who took home third place with a time of 14:01.81, shattering their personal best by 14 seconds.

Junior Meagan Haviland turned in a second-place finished in the 1000-meter with a time of 3:12.74.

Venturi and Keefer also competed in the mile run coming in at 5:59.73 and 6:01.10, respectively, with teammate Jennifer O'Connor finishing just behind them at 6:13.58.

Sophomore Caleigh Capek finished fifth in the 3000-meter coming in at 12:08.62.

Freshman Matt Lopez turned in a time of 2:39.17 in the men's 1000-meter race for a fifth-place finish.
