Women's Swimming Picked Fourth in Skyline Conference Coaches Poll

New York, NY| St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's swimming team finished fourth in the 2022-23 Skyline Conference Coaches Preseason Poll. 

The Golden Eagles finished third at the 2022  Skyline Conference Championship last year, falling short of second place Sarah Lawrence by 30 points. 

St. Joseph's returns Meghan Skakandi, Nicole Orellana, and Alison Cabanillas–all of whom were on the 200 yard free relay team that set a program record in 2021-22–as the program looks to build off its strong season from last year. SJNY finished 9-1 overall in the regular season and 4-1 in Skyline action. 

The Golden Eagles start the season on Oct. 29 against Sarah Lawrence and John Jay.
