Four Golden Eagles Land on Skyline Weekly Honor Rolls

New York, NY| Four Golden Eagles landed on Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Rolls when the conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Senior Alyssa Adomaites, junior Xavier Allen, sophomore Alison Cabanillas and freshman Ashlyn Williams all received recognition in their respetive sports.

Alyssa Adomaites (Sr.) - Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Led the Golden Eagles in their season opening win over Yeshiva with a 28 point performance while shooting 47.6% from the field. The guard added seven rebounds and dishing out six assists, while collecting a career best nine steals. 

Xavier Allen (Jr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Guided the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 week. Scored 34 points total over the two game span averaging 17 points per game. The guard averaged eight rebounds a game, garnering a total of 16, six assists per game for a total of 12 assists and a total of three steals. The Junior finished with a double double in their win over York College with 21 points and 10 rebounds.


Alison Cabanillas (So.) - Women's Swimming Weekly Honor Roll  

Cabanillas placed first in the 500 yard freestyle against USMMA (5:52:96), finished first in the 500 yard freestyle against Hunter College (5:59:88). Also was a part of the 200 yard medley relay team that took second against Hunter (2:05:80).


Ashlyn Williams (Fr.) - Women's Swimming Weekly Honor Roll 

The freshman finished first in the 100 yard butterfly against Hunter College (1:06:85), Williams also took second in the 100 yard butterfly against USMMA (1:11:27), competed in the 200 yard medley relay team that finished second against Hunter (2:05:80).
