New York, NY| Five Golden Eagles received Skyline Conference Weekly awards when the conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Junior Spencer Malloy of the men's basketball team was named Player of the Week, sophomore Alison Cabanillas of women's swimming was named Swimmer of the Week, freshman Ashlyn Williams of women's swimming secured Rookie of the Week, and freshman Emma Kelly of women's basketball received Rookie of the Week.

Additionally, Alyssa Adomaites of women's basketball was named to the Weekly Honor Roll. 

Spencer Malloy (Jr.) - Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Led the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 week averaging a double-double of 20.5 points and 11 rebounds per game. The forward finished with 41 total points with 22 boards. Malloy recorded a game-best 20 points on 9-for-17 shooting with eight rebounds in a win over Old Westbury before dropping in 21 points with 14 rebounds against Mt. St. Vincent.

Alison Cabanillas (So.) - Women's Swimming Swimmer of the Week 

Cabanillas helped guide the Golden Eagles to a win over Cedar Crest College by finishing first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.86), and also placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:51.31). The sophomore took part in the 400-yard medley relay that took first place (4:41.69), as well as the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:25.85).


Ashlyn Williams (Fr.) - Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week

The freshman helped lead the Golden Eagles to a victory over Cedar Crest College, finishing first in the 200-yard butterfly. Williams also competed in the 200-yard backstroke finishing first (2:29.41), while securing first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.53). Williams also placed first in the 400-yard medley relay (4:41.69). 

Emma Kelly (Fr.) - Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Kelly appeared in two games this week averaging 10.5 points on 66.7% shooting from the field. The guard also grabbed a total of 10 rebounds for an average of five rebounds per game. The freshman also matched a team-best of 14 points in a win against Old Westbury. 

Alyssa Adomaites (Sr.) - Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Led the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 week averaging 18.3 points per game. The guard had a team-best performance in three games this week with 22, 19, and 14 points, respectively. The senior also matched a team-best four steals in a win against St. Joseph's Brooklyn, averaging two steals a game over the three-game stretch.
