Men’s Golf Victorious at Old Westbury Invitational

Manorville, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team secured a victory at the annual SUNY Old Westbury Invitational at Swan Lake Golf Club in Manorville, NY on Friday afternoon.

SJC (+36) finished 17 strokes better than the Panthers (+53) on the par 72, 6,372 yard course.

Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year Joseph Tantillo led the way for the Golden Eagles with a score of 75 (+3) that earned the freshman an individual championship.

Patrick Standard (+9) shot an 81 and finished tied for second place, and Michael Nadeau (+11) finished fourth after shooting an 83.

David Doolin and Vincent Garofalo both shot 85's and finished tied for seventh place.

The Golden Eagles return to the links on Monday, April 23 when they participate at the Suffolk County Community College Invitational at St. Georges Golf and Country Club in East Seatauket, NY.
