Men's Golf Wraps Season with Win at Suffolk County CC Invitational

East Seatauket, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team wrapped up its 2017-18 season on Monday with a first-place finish at the Suffolk County Community College Invitational at St. Georges Golf and Country Club.

SJC, which shot 320, was led by individual winner Joseph Tantillo, who shot a 75 on the afternoon. The freshman was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year back in October.

Senior Vinny Garofalo and junior Andrew Maiorca posted scores of 81, and junior Patrick Standard shot an 83.

SUNY Old Westbury finished second (340) while Suffolk (342) and Nassau Community College (356) took third and fourth, respectively.

The invitational marks the end of SJC's 2017-18 season. Back in October, the Golden Eagles finished fourth at the Skyline Conference Championship.
