Men's Tennis Dismisses Sage for Second-Straight Win

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team won its second-straight contest with convincing 9-0 victory over The Sage Colleges at home on Saturday afternoon. The result sees the Golden Eagles improve to 2-4 on the year as the Cardinals fall to 0-11.

SJC dominated the doubles competitions, winning 8-5 at first doubles, 8-1 at second doubles and 8-0 at third doubles.

Kevin Lankowicz earned an impressive 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles, while Peter Rasmussen and Matt Dioguardo earned tie-break victories at #2 and #4 singles, respectively.

Kyle Conway and Cody Puglisi picked up 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 wins at #5 and #6 singles.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, April 26 when they visit the United States Merchant Marine Academy in a Skyline Conference showdown at 5:00 pm.
