Men's Volleyball Highlights Skyline Weekly Awards

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday evening, and amongst the winners were freshmen Mark Williams and Clint Johnson of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's volleyball team who were named Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Additionally, senior Tori Staker of the women's lacrosse team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Mark Williams (Fr.) - Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
Williams picked up his second Player of the Week honor finishing with nine kills while hitting at a .438 clip in SJC's lone match of the week. The freshman matched a team-best five digs and had a hand on two blocks. The outside hitter currently ranks among conference leaders in hitting percentage, kills, service aces, and digs.

Clint Johnson (Fr.) - Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Johnson earned his third Rookie of the Week recognition guiding the Golden Eagles to a 3-0 sweep in their only contest of the week with 27 assists. The freshman added four kills (.800) and a dig. The setter currently leads the conference in assists (172).

Tori Staker (Sr.) - Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Staker led the Golden Eagles in their only game of the week with five points on four goals and an assist and a 1.000 shooting percentage. She was 3-for-3 in free position attempts and recorded five groundballs, four draw controls, and caused three turnovers.
