Haun Captures Second ECAC Rookie of the Week Honors of the Season

Danbury, Conn.| Ryan Haun of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's cross country team was selected as ECAC Division III Metro Region Rookie of the Week for the second time this season on Wednesday afternoon, as per the ECAC website.

The freshman earned a 12th place finish in a field of 148 at the CCNY Classic held at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx on Sunday morning. Haun's 8k time of 30:07.6 was best among participating freshman and helped power the Golden Eagles to a fourth place finish out of 17 competing senior schools.

Haun and the Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, October 17 when they host the annual St. Joseph's Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY.
